Norway
Lofoten was one of those places that stopped me in my tracks the first time I arrived. The kind of landscape that feels almost unreal—oceans constantly in motion, sharp mountain peaks rising straight out of the water, and light that never seems to behave the same way twice. It’s dramatic without trying, and every visit feels a little different depending on the weather, the season, and how patient you’re willing to be with it.
Bergen, on the other hand, is home. Just outside the city is where the scenery softens and stretches out into the fjords I keep coming back to—places that feel familiar in the best way. Aurland and Flåm for slow mornings and quiet roads. Stegastein when the clouds lift just enough. Aurlandsdalen when you want to wander without a timeline. Nærøyfjorden and Rauma are places I know by feel now, not by map.

Having only met over zoom and chatted via text we were nervous about what it would be like to work with someone we’d only met virtually. When Christin arrived at our hotel we were immediately put at ease. She made us feel very comfortable right away and was more than willing to assist anyway she could to ensure the day went smoothly. The photos of our ceremony in Oslo and around different parts of the city turned out so beautifully.
After Oslo, we met up with Christin a couple days later for more pictures in Lofoten. Her knowledge and expertise of the area were very much appreciated. She offered lots of different hiking options at various skill levels and ultimately we chose a hike that, when we go back and look at the photos, takes our breath away.
